The "Fit n' Trendy" Health & Fitness EXPO Debuts in
the Houston Area
Local Fitness Studios
Showcase Popular National Trends in Health, Nutrition
and Fitness
The "Fit n' Trendy"
Health & Fitness EXPO, highlighting the best and
latest trends in health, nutrition and fitness from
national & local companies, comes to the Houston area
Saturday, March 19th at the Double Tree Guest Suites,
9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The "Fit n' Trendy"
Health & Fitness EXPO is an interactive showcase of
"out of the box" exercise programs and innovative
methods in health, nutrition and fitness. By
connecting attendees with unconventional fitness
methods and exposing them to new workout regimens,
The "Fit n' Trendy" Health & Fitness EXPO will
educate attendees on their options for obtaining
optimum health benefits while showing them a myriad
of healthy program choices.
According to a 2008 survey of 15,000 women by
Reebok™, more then 60% of participants knew that
exercise is vital to their overall health but less
than 25% completed a full exercise regime.

Katrin Ley, Head of Women at
Reebok™, stated, “The insights proved women perceive
exercise as a chore, [and] were unmotivated and uninspired
to exercise, but would workout more often if the gym was
fun.”
EXPO attendees will participate in a series of popular
workout classes held by local fitness studios including
Flirty Girl Fitness™, Zumba™ and Balletone™, a combination
of ballet and yoga. Event exhibitors will also provide a
variety of healthy food and drink samples, fitness

Erin Creeks, a Certified Personal Trainer, Pilates
instructor and EXPO creator said,"This is the first year
that the "Fit n' Trendy" Health & Fitness EXPO has taken
place. My inspiration to create the EXPO came from the
DCAC Fitness Convention. The mission of DCAC is to educate
personal trainers and group instructors on the latest
programs, certifications, research and trends in the
fitness industry. After witnessing some great emerging
trends, I felt that the public should be equipped with the
same knowledge and exposure as the DCAC attendees."
Creeks knows her target audience. "While we want to appeal
to everyone, this event is focused on women between 25 and
45 years old. as women make up the majority of group based
fitness classes, either to maintain a healthy physique or
to fight the affects of aging. We want ladies to be
informed and most of all excited about being healthy. This
EXPO is for anyone bored with their current workout and
diet program, not seeing results, or just getting started
on their path to well being."
The "Fit n' Trendy" Health & Fitness EXPO will be held at
the Double Tree Guest Suites (5353 Westheimer Road),
Saturday, March 19th, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Registration can be found at The "Fit n' Trendy" Health &
Fitness EXPO. Admission begins at $30.00.
